CLASS: exam setup
The exam is called open book, but the General Building candidate may only bring the International General Building Code (2006 Edition). The North Carolina Building Code, Vol. 1C Accessibility and the North Carolina Building Code, Vol. 1A Administration. The Residential candidate may bring the the International Residential Code 2006 Edition, the NASCLA Business and Project Management for Contractors, and the latest version of the OSHA reference. No other reference materials may be used during the exam.
The exam will consist of a percentage questions on the following trades:
Business Law (11-15 Questions)
Contracts and Agreements (1-3 Questions)
Liens (1-3 Questions)
Erosion and Sedimentation Control (1-3 Questions)
Concrete (12-15 Questions)
Steel (12-15 Questions)
Masonry (12-15 Questions)
Site Work (2-4 Questions)
Carpentry (12-15 Questions)
Associated Trades (7-9 Questions)
Safety (5-10 Questions)
